Sunstone broadens the products supply chain with the abrasive tools industry, has strengthened its production capacity for abrasive discs to serve increasing global market demand. There are three core types of abrasive discs: flap discs, cutting discs, and grinding discs.

For flap discs, the production line has four high-efficiency machines, each capable of producing about 8,000 pieces per day, resulting in a total daily output of 32,000 pieces. The flap disc production process contains combining the abrasive cloth sheets into semi-finished products, which are then assembled, placed into an oven for high-temperature curing, and finally emerge as finished products. In the end, they will be inspected, labeled, packaged, and shipped to customers worldwide.

All products are under strict quality control at every stage, from raw material testing to final inspection, to ensure the quality and durability according to market demand.

Flap discs are widely used for surface preparation, deburring, and blending in metal fabrication. They offer fast stock removal and smooth finishing, making them ideal for stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.

Cutting discs are specialized for precise, high-speed cutting of metal bars, pipes, rebar, and steel sheets. They are favored in construction, automotive repair, and manufacturing sectors for their sharpness and durability.

Grinding discs, on the other hand, are built for heavy-duty material removal, such as weld seams, rust, and castings. These are essential in shipbuilding, foundries, and general metal processing.
